Brooke has over 5 years experience as a fulltime, freelance editor, during which time she has edited over 25,000 pages of documents for hundreds of clients around the world.
Brooke graduated magna cum laude from the University of Missouri with a B.A. in Speech Communication/Debate. After getting her degree from Harvard Law School, she practiced for over 20 years in Houston including writing and editing thousands of legal documents. She began her official editing career as Editor "LegalPro" at EditAvenue.com where she stayed for 3 years as one of EA's top-ranked, 5-star rated editors.
In addition to working directly with clients, she serves as a project editor for Publications Services getting both fiction and nonfiction books ready for the publisher, all of which are now featured on Amazon.
She is a member of the Editorial Freelancers Association, the premier national organization for freelance editors.
When not at her computer, Brooke spends time with husband Jim, daughter Blair (University of Houston Honors College student), and many cats.
